Website

A website showcases your brand and will provide insight into your product. Independent properties will unlikely have an extensive budget for a website and this should not be a barrier.

  • Understand your objectives, vision and desired outcome
  • Audit, refresh or tweak your current website or create a new one
  • Complete fulfilment from copy brief to completed website
  • Utilise a dedicated web designer or work alongside your existing resource
  • Incorporate property videos, image gallery, booking engine and online gift vouchers
  • Monitor performance with Google Analytics

A website is the most important resource for a customer to research and understand your product when not experiencing it first-hand. Researching an accommodation website should be an enjoyable experience as a potential guest may be looking at booking a night away, a celebration, deciding where to have afternoon tea or where to host an event.

A property website does not need to be expensive to produce and should not be cost prohibitive. Perhaps an audit is required to understand the guest journey, new copy is needed, an audit of imagery or a new site required.

The Millstream Hotel website was replaced in 2018 with a new identity, layout, new copy and new imagery taken. The whole project was undertaken for the hotel with the aid of a designer creating the identity, layout and inputting the content. It was not expensive and was a more cost effective option than utilising a web agency.

All the copy was written, photography fulfilled and website brief created. A big focus was researching and creating a new section of things to do in the area as another reason to visit the hotel. To complement the website, a new booking engine was implemented and online gift vouchers were enhanced.

The Hydro Hotel website has been significantly updated in the past two years with imagery, video, new layout and re-written content all implemented. This was refreshed in stages to suit financial and business objectives. A hotel and wedding video, new booking engine and online gift vouchers were also added to the site in a phased approach.

The Lansdowne Hotel website is configured within Best Western’s iSite platform and has been updated considerably to make it work harder. The big difference here is that the system is limited and restricted within its template and therefore presents some challenges both technically and visually. Despite this, it has been embraced to ensure it can work to the maximum of its capabilities and has subsequently had a lot of content rewritten, site restructured, new sections created and SEO included.

All websites are managed for the hotels, regularly audited, updated and have content regularly refreshed.
